In an effort to streamline data access and reporting for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia, eSkilled has unveiled its latest innovation, RTO Analytics & AI Reporting. This new feature enhances its existing student and learning management platform by offering rapid access to critical operational data. Designed to cater to various aspects such as enrolments, learner progress, compliance, finance, and organisational performance, the system aims to decrease the dependency on spreadsheets, manual data exports, and specialist reporting expertise.
The reporting capabilities of eSkilled’s system encompass a comprehensive range of data, with 29 reportable entities and over 650 reportable fields. These fields include detailed information on students, enrolments, trainers, financials, attendance records, and more, ensuring a robust framework for quality management and risk management. Users are empowered to generate reports either through an intuitive point-and-click interface or by employing natural-language prompts. This functionality allows the AI to sift through relevant data, apply necessary filters, and present the information in clear visualisations.
Practical applications of this system include queries such as identifying trainers whose credentials are nearing expiration, detecting unpaid invoices older than 30 days, or assessing withdrawal rates across different qualifications. eSkilled CEO Scott Rogers highlights that this feature is crafted to democratize access to operational information, enabling RTO staff to retrieve necessary data without needing advanced technical skills.
Additionally, the platform introduces AI Chat with Your Data, a feature that permits staff to interact with live operational data using natural language. This tool facilitates insights into areas like attendance, completion rates, financial health, compliance activities, and quality management. Tailored dashboards and reporting tools are available for various roles within an organisation, from executives to administrators, featuring key performance indicator dashboards, scheduled reports, and AVETMISS data-quality monitoring.
Security and access controls are integral to the system, ensuring that analytics and AI features respect existing user permissions, thereby restricting data access based on staff roles. AI queries are conducted on sanitised and permission-controlled data, with audit logs tracking all reporting and AI interactions. These measures support governance and regulatory compliance, forming a part of eSkilled’s comprehensive platform that blends student management, learning management, online training delivery, compliance, and business intelligence. The new analytics feature is expected to be integrated into eSkilled’s SMS & LMS by August 2026.
